On the way – Your package is moving toward its final destination. This means it's in a moving vehicle or at one of our facilities. There's nothing you need to do at this point.

If the shipment requires a direct or adult signature, then someone must be available to sign in person. If someone is not home to sign for a direct or adult signature, the courier will leave a door tag or reattempt delivery.
We'll reattempt to deliver your package the following day. Generally, we make deliveries from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday–Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday for residential deliveries.

The status “In Transit” indicates that a package is either on the move within the carrier's network or being processed at a facility, but it does not definitively mean that it will arrive today.
How Long Does It Take for FedEx to Update Tracking? Packages are scanned, and tracking information is updated in real-time at every step as they arrive and leave the different FedEx facilities. Sometimes, it may take up to 24 hours after the shipping label has been generated to have your tracking information updated.
Packages are scanned at various points between pickup and delivery. The frequency of scans varies, and it's not unusual for a shipment to go more than 24 hours without an update while it's on its way to the final destination.
How can I request a redelivery? In most cases, FedEx will attempt to deliver your package three times before returning it to the shipper. In case a courier is unable to leave your package, the courier will try to call you to check your availability and attempt the delivery.
If FedEx can't locate your package after some investigation, they'll likely recommend filing a trace. This initiates a formal search for the missing package and helps determine what happened to it. Be sure to note the trace number they provide for future reference.
